These symptoms are consistent with a Body Control Module, or BCM failure. The BCM is located under the front dash. It is a dealer-only part.

Bought a clicker for my son's used 2003 Hyundai Tiburon (base) we just purchased. He keeps the clicker, I went to open the door with my key, and the car went into crazy mode. I put the key in th

It happens a lot for the Tiburon apparently....what you have to do is put the key in the ignition whilst the horn is going nuts, turn the key to the "on" position and wait a minute or so for the horn to stop blowing. Then press the "unlock" button on the fob until you see the turn signals flash. try turning the key over and see if it will start up. If it doesn't, try again, same thing only turn the key all the way off and try starting as normal again. I can't remember if it's the "unlock" or "lock" button you're supposed to press, but one of them does it. Test it while in the car and see if it locks when you hit lock on the fob.....oh, and also make sure all the doors are shut while you are doing this. It recalibrates the fob to the car's computer and resets your security system and keyless entry.

Same as above....plus more

Go to www.hmaservice.com and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

Same problem here

One of the door 'LOCK/UNLOCK' actuators is losing it's 'GROUND' connection/'circuit. This happens when the key is in the ignition and the ETACS (Electronic Time Alarm & Control System) is looking for the appropiate signal(s) to LOCK/UNLOCK the doors. The best solution: Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

2003 Hyundai Tiburon - Driver side automatic window will not work

check for obvious damage to connectors or wires. what happens most of the time is the plastic motor gear on motor splits. be careful when removing motor to not let the regulator spool go free.

2003 Hyundai Tiburon

The tiburon turn signals are controlled by a bcm (body control module) The bcm controls the ground to the signals. These always go bad and cause the signal to stick on or just not work. hope i was a help.

My parking lights and hazard lights do not turn off

i had the same problem, well my right turb signal stayed on all the time and i had to pull the fuse. the BCM under your dash is bad. the BCM is where all your fuses are plugged into. you can find one online for about $700ish. go to hyundaihouseofpower.com or newtiburon.com and they might help you. 03 tiburons have bad luck when it comes to the BCM. change it out and your problems will be solved.also look on ebay.

HOW DO I REPLACE MY TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ON 2003 HYUNDAI TIBURON

I just found out today that it is a problem for alot of 2003 tiburons that the flasher relay for the turn signals will go out causing the turn signal lights to stay on even with the car off. The relays are internal and located on the circuit board of the BCM. In order to fix you will have to remove and disassemble the bcm circuit board from it's housing and resolder a new flasher relay. Haven't figured out where to get that flasher relay though.
