Replacement of erg valve on 97 dodge intrepid. Where is valve located and how big a project would it be to replace it or is this something best left to a professional?

Driver side near the back. Look way up.

The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located: Under hood, passenger side, upper engine area, mounted in water outlet.

facing the car it should be on the left valve cover. you can only take it off while the car is cool.

There is a fuse box on the drivers side of the car near the battery. Remove the cover by pushing down on the clip on the engine side of the box. The lid should have the locations of each Relay. They are all the same part, just in different locations.

YES THEY ARE!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! I hope you have it in writing that they told you that...because I would have them red flagged by reporting them to the Better Business Bureau! If you copy & paste the following link into address bar...you will see that the EGR Valve for your engine is easy to get at change WITHOUT REMOVING the ENTIRE ENGINE!

2000 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L SFI DOHC 6cyl

The Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, under left hand side of instrument panel between junction block and brake pedal.

P0700 is a code in the engine computer telling you that you have codes in the transmission computer. You need to have the transmission computer scanned.

Do yourself a big favor & buy the adapter plug for the harness, that converts your Chrysler harness to easy install of aftermarket stereo. Any autoparts or audio store should have them.

Check down under dash by left side of brake pedal area.

Most likely a bad fan relay, or a bad temp sensor. Does the fan come on with the A/C? If not, most likely the relay, if so, most likely the temp sensor.
