The speed sencor in the transmisson needs to be replaced. the sencor says the car is going 90-127 miles an hour then the car stalles. I would like to know if I could unplug one of the wires going into the sencor( there are four) and then it would run ok. I tryed unpluding it but it acted the same.
I know the sencor needs to be replaced. The sencor cost $150 and 2 hours to replace it @ $60 an hour.I'm looking at a repair bill of $370. The car is only worth $800. That's half the cars value. I thought if I could remove the right wire that went to the sencor it would run ok.I know the sencor needs to be replaced.
