Where is the fuel filter and fuel pump located in the 2003 kia sedona

    remove second row seat drivers side,under that seat and under mats there is a carpeted flap,open it and you will find an access cover to the fuel pump that is held down with 4 phillips screws

    kia's fuel filters are made on the pump itself

Start of at the gas tank look under neath there are some black lines running towards the engine follow it to a small gold color that ataches to the line you are following that is the filter the pump is in the gas tank you need to drop the straps at the tank to bring it down

Newer cars I have seen usually have the fuel filter in the tank. Vehicles with inline filter are usually located around the fuel tank or in the fuel line running from the tank to the engine. Did not find 2011 but other models I found have access to fuel pump and filter under rear seat.

The fuel pump is and electric pump and is located in the gas tank . the tank would need to be drop to gain access to the fuel pump .

believe there is actually an access panel in front of the second row seat behind the drivers seat that you can access the top of the tank, fuel pump and possibly the fuel filter. Lift up the carpeting and check.
1. Remove the fuel tank cap to lower the fuel tank's internal pressure. 2. Locate access cover. 3. Remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly installation screws, then remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly from the fuel tank.

For Kia Sorento 2003-2005 the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is replaced with the fuel pump as an assembly.

Fuel Pump - Removal & Installation
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:
    Rear seat Access cover Fuel pump electrical connector
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
    Fuel lines Fuel pump and filter assembly
To install:
  1. Install or connect the following:
    Fuel pump and filter assembly Fuel lines Fuel pump electrical connector Access cover Rear seat
  2. Start the engine and check for leaks.

It is located inside the fuel tank. Fortunately there is an access panel behind the drivers seat. take the cover off and then disconnect the wires and the fuel lines unscrew the flange and out it comes.

Where is the fuel filter in the 2002 Kia Sedona?
Hi jlalarcong,
The fuel filter on a 2002 Kia Sedona is actually attatched to pump.
To access the filter you will have to take out the pump, unfortunately this resaults in damaging the pump, and would have to be changed. You can locate the pump/filter in the tank which is accessed from an access pannel on the floor board behind the front seats.
