Low beams don't work - both out at the same time. High beams do work fine. I swapped the low and high beam relays in the fusebox and there was no change...no low, high OK. I can feel the low beam relay click when turning on the low beams and then the high beam relay click when turning on the high beams. still no low beams. Fuses for each side low beam are good (tested with ohmmeter). When I turn on the lights, I get 12v at the low beam fuses. When I turn off the lights, I get 0v at the low beam fuses.

No I didn't check the bulbs since they both quit working at exactly the same time. I thought it would be highly unlikely that a physical impairment would affect both bulbs at the same time and more likely that some other electrical issue was at fault. But, I will attempt to check the bulbs.

It's hard for me to believe that both low beams went out at the same time - but it was the bulbs. Weird.

DID YOU CHECK THE BULBS?

Testimonial: "spot on."

I think you have to actually pull out the knob for the headlights, as well as turn the knob to "on" position, of which there are several settings.

Did you check the bulbs them self? most of the times the bulb high current filament is burnt out and need replacement. If everything is fine check the wiring, there must be an interruptions in the wires leading to the high lights.

2004 Pontiac Grand Am High Beams and Fog lights do not work

Check the relay that powers the high beam, if memory serves me the relay is shared between those two circuits. You can swap the relay with a known good relay to prove if that is the issue.

Is there any fuses or relays that are not in the fuse box on a 2002 buick rendezvousfor the bright lights

The high and low beam lights use the same power source, so if the low beams work the high beams have power.
There is a low and high beam relay controlled by the dimmer switch.
If the low beams work and the high beams don't, and the bulbs are good, check the dimmer switch and the high beam relay.

Low beams on 2008 Envoy, they just went out and its no working just the high beams

Try swapping relays #45 & 46 in the underhood fusebox. Relay #46 is for the low beams.

2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES, the blue high beam indicator in the dash comes on with low beams, and goes off with high beams. The indicator is on at the wrong time! I have tried the following: The turn signal...

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

Both of my low beams just stopped working at once. High beams work fine, and bulbs seem to be good. We've replaced the fuses also, and it hasn't worked. what would cause the low beams to both just quit...

The headlight relay has probably failed. This relay is in the underhood fuse box. There are typically two of the same relays in there, so you can swap the low-beam relay for the high-beam relay to verify the problem before you shell out $30 for new relay.

Headlights went out. Replaced bulbs and switch and still lights don't work. Fog lights and high beams work? What else can work?

If high beams work and low beams do not, then it is probably the high/low relay. It is part number 15016745 and has four prongs. To test if your relay has gone bad locate the relay in your fuse box. There will be two of these relays located next to each other. One controls the low beam headlights and the other the cooling fan. Swap the relays and check your low beam headlights. If the low beams work you have a bad relay.

Low beam headlamps wont turn on change bulbs and checked fuses and still wont come on.

did you check for a relay in your fuse panel? there should be a relay that controls your low beams and one for your high beams. check for that and then if high beams are working swap it with low beam relay. if your problem switches to low beams working and high beams not working replace the bad relay.
