Please check the heater motor and also the thermostat. If those don't work, then this can also lead to your ac/heating system to malfunction as well.

In the Drivers guide of your car you can find the oil specification according to the model. However the most commonly used oil and very popular is Mobile1 Synthetic ATF oil.

Can you undo the engine mounts from the bottom and jack the engine up with a floor jack? Be careful you dont dent the oil sump; recommend you use a block of wood as a buffer between jack and sump. Unless it has proper jacking points.
