I have a Ford Focus Ghia estate 52 plate, When i close the drives electric door window it goes up automaticly but when it gets to the top it comes back down again it does not park at the top.... Any ideas ?

see that the button on your fob is not stuck.

Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner into all of the switches on the main controll on the drivers door. With the vehicle running ignition on . It s likely just a bad connection water gets in between the window glass and the switches . If that dosn't work remove the main switch and clean the contacts and it will work again.

one surefire way to locate a rattle is for a mate to place a stethoscope(long handle screwdriver placed to their ear) whilst you are driving to replicate the noise.....sometimes comes from far away from where you think it is......(trying to dignose a rattle from afar is very much like describing flavours......)

Could be the CV joint needs greasing up, or replacing, check for splits in the rubber gater around the drive shaft(looks like a bellow). Replace if necessary.

hi there sharondav are u able to remove unit & look for serial no. on side unit serial no. starts with m & is six figure no.u need radio pins to take unit out which u can purchase at local car accessories or if you ask nicely u can ask u r local ford garage to take unit out it you can i will be able to get radio code for u.
