Silhouette load levelling compressor keeps coming on
I have a 1998 Olds Silhouette and the compressor keeps coming on when I turn the van off. I checked and one line isn't connected anymore. How do I stop the compressor from coming on all the time?
Thanks

You can pull the fuses, but it is hard wired so it might have relays that need to be pulled, or you can just fix it, and replace the air shocks/struts with regular shocks/struts

when the wipers are off make sure the driver and passenger wipers are at same level on windshield you can adjust them so they don't go off the edge or hit the bottom. if they are hitting off the edge and hitting the bottom as well you need to check the linkage since it may be worn out.
follow the top raidator hose where it connetcts to engine that peace it connects to it is under it. usuall two bolts and it comes off and just sets right their ater removeing the houseing you just pull up on it and it comes offf
Check the bleed port on the controller, it may be plugged with dirt. or the controller may have failed. A full funtion scanner would help find the problem.
An other option is to by-pass the auto- leveling system and install a manual scrader valve in the air line, this would allow you to add and remove air with any source. They are availble at most autopart stores.
not sure what you are looking for?? there is no fuel cut oof switch in these vans. Not factory anyway. if you could elaborate on what you are looking for and or why.
