After the car warms up it idles about 600 rpm but it idles rough when in drive. Usually sitting at a stop light when taking off it will die then it will start right back up and run just fine until sitting at the next stop light. No current codes.
Vacume leak or bad idle motor. With the car in park and running with the hood open listen for leaks moving your hand around the different hoses looking for a change in the sounds that you hear. The idel motor also makes the car idel up to 1500 RPM or so right at start-up then idel down, If it doesn;t the idel motor is likly. Check engine light is on when running? Test for codes, Follow code test charts don't skip any steps!.

With the vacume leak fixed the engine control system needs reset. Thhats easy record the code to re turn on the radio and then disconnect the battery. Hang out with the lads your mom or your best women and when your done the computer will have forgotton all albout the vacume leak then hook up the battery and take another break as the secuiity system needs to make sure that your not a thief. 15 minututes should work but don't rush things as theifs are in a hurry and so the system is looking for someone in a hurry. Yes theirs a way out butit takes even longer. Come back to the car and it wl start and die. turn the key off and removce it. Even if it keeps running do this anyway. Now restart the car and as soon as it starts keep a high idel with the gas. Keep iit there for 2 whole minutes ( this is called relearn) about a minute intoo the run at fast idel (1500 or higher but steady) kick on the AC let it run at 2 minutes slowly let the engine idel down till it holds on its own. put the break on and put it in gear not moving, wait another minute. The car should be ideling smoothly and the check engine light should be out and the put it back in park should be about the same as it was in gear. If all this happened as I say then it's a good car and have fun driving it if not post me back and I'll tellyou what to do about it. Cleaning the throttle body is only to be done if the throttle sticks closed, and only then as it's designed to be a bit dirty. Clean is'nt normal

It can be issue
with IAC( idle air control valve) causing the problem.
There
are many other possibilities causing these idle issues. Engine idles rough.

Engine stalling and rough run
issue at low speeds
This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

Vacume leak on small hose on the throttle body. Still idles a little rough but doesn't stall at stop lights now. Going to clean throttle body this should help it idle smoother.
