Ford focus i.6 zetec 02 plate: engine management light came on and car runs as if runnin out of petrol,n like there a block in the air filter?please help

As to the light you must have a fault code test run to see what turned on the light, it could be related to the inop fuel gage, And that is the fuel tank sending unit causing that. Do the fault code first.

Start with a K&N Air Filter, New Plugs, Fuel Filter and make sure your Tires are at the recommended Air Pressure

hi i have a 2001 1.6 zetec ford focus. the engine managment light is on and my car has bee leaking oil into the airbox on the floor and onto the gearbox coming from the rocker cover breather hose ( i have changed the camshaft breather hose and valve ) any suggestions ?

there are several reasons that this could be hapening, firstly check that there are no signs of wear on the HT leads, check for worn/ damaged spark plugs.... air filter blocked. if the engine light stays on then the ECU is reading a fault, possibly has gone into safe mode! the best thing i can advice is to take the car into a garage and have a fault diagnostic run on the car! this will hopefully tell you where the problem is!
