My 2006 Toyota Camry won't start. Battery seems okay since all dashboard lights come on as expected. I get a slight chirping sound when I turn the key. Is is the starter moter?

Sounds like starter or cable to starter is loose, especially if you just put a new battery in it.

The sensor inside the tank is defective or covered in goo. Remove the sensor from the tank or remove the tank and flush it clean with hot water and a mild solution of white vinegar, if the sensor still reads the tank is low replace it.

Check your fusible link.It is tied into positive battery cable,goes to starter and alternator,it is burnt up.

It may be that the battery is bad where it won't take a charge from the alternator so it should be checked for that using test equipment, most autoparts stores like Autozone, Kragen, Advance Auto provide this service at no charge, since it's an 08 there is a chance that it may still be covered under the toyota factory which is 3yrs/36,000 miles for electrical parts.

seems like the has a active alarm system check under the dashboard for a switch to disengage it if not might be your stater has trouble

First turn on the parking switch & then turn the illumination light knod clockwise located in the dashboard.
