2001 porsche 911 convertible top will not close and the rear windows will not close. I followed the Porsche guide to the letter and I still can not close my top. When I engage the rocker switch the convertible top light flashes about 3 times then stays lite and I hear clicking noise in the rear of the car. What does that mean? The front windows will go down when I engage the rocker switch and the rear windows went down. Now the rear windows will not come back up and I can operate the front two windows with no problem.

You can actually buy the plastic piece for the hook. No need to tare the mechanism apart. Simply cut two slots a quareter inch each from the eyelets of the piece and slip it into place over the hook. The hook at the front has to be covered in plastic cov er. If this is damaged in anyway it needs to be replaxced. You can buy these hook covers.
