Toyota Lucida Estima 1995 (Japanese Import) - have changed interior light blub, in doing so think I may have shorted interior lights and clock (are these on same circuit?) Without a wiring Diagram I cannot locate the fuse box, I have found 2 fuse boxes (behind battery & Pasenger footwell) are there any more in a different location?

Most likely the one by the drivers kick panel.Pull each one and look at it real good,or to be sure,use a test light you can purchase at the parts store.Clip the clip to a good ground,and the other end is a probe,touch the probe to all the fuses,both sides of the fuses,with the key on,and the lights on.The fuse that only one side lights the test light,is blown.




Did you purchase a test light.On this car,does the head light switch operate the dash lights up and then dim them by turning the knob?Or is the dimmer for the dash lights separate?With the ignition on,and the parking lights on,use the test light and get a good ground to clip it on,and touch the tip of the test light to the fuses.One of the fuses will light up the test light,and dim the test light,when you dim the dash lights.Find that fuse,it will be in the fuse panel on drivers side kick panel.If you can not find this fuse,because none of the fuses will dim,when you dim the dash lights,look for a small amp fuse.Maybe 3 amp,or 5amp,or maybe 7 amp.Will they light up?It might even be a 10 or 15 amp in this place.Look for one that does not have any power one it,on either side of the fuse.With the car running check to see if one of the fuses has no power on it.Now there maybe some spare fuses also,that do not do anything.Do the dash lights work?The reason I ask,this should light up the clock.If the dimer switch for the dash lights controls the dome light also,it is either not getting power,or it is bad,most likely not getting power.If you find a fuse with no power,get power to it to see if it will light up every thing,if it lights up the dash lights when you do this,then the dimmer switch for the dash is bad,and it will most likely fix the dome light also.I hope this helps,let us know if it does,thank you.
