You should be able to manually unlock the door and open it,even without the power lock working. The center roller on these vans is prone to wear, causing binding and misalignment of the electrical connectors that you see when the door is open. This may cause the locks to be disabled and the door to not open with the power button. There are three rollers on each door, but many times only the center one is worn out.The installation & alignment of the rollers is critical on this vehicle,so you should consider the dealer for this repair. good luck
Its usually a bad ground or i have found corroded wires under the floor molding on the driverside just behind front seat there should be a splice , thats where my brothers was on his 04 ram. i think the windows was a yellow wire
on your door, if you remove the panel from the inside, you should see a lever connected to the handle that is supposed to disengaged the door hinge opening the door.
your may have this part broken due to corrosion, or there is a possibility that the lock did not disengage leaving the lever connect to the door handle not disengaging the door hinge.
have this checked with a local mechanic or consult the service manual for DIY.
