Montero Sport, Automatic transmission fluid change

Hello! I have Mitsubishi Montero Sport, 1999. I need to change automatic transmission fluid, and mixed up - one tells me to put Mobil ATF-220, another advises to put Mitsubishi ATF SP 3, the third offered Castrol (do not remember the product code). Your advice on this is highly appreciated.
Regards,

Ok, Mobil atf is more of a universal fluid, where Mitsubishi atf would be specifically formulated to be used in their products. Personally I would use the Mitsubishi as it is brand specific, but you can use either one with more than likely no problems.

I definetly highly reccomend you to use Mitsubishi genuine Diamond SPIII Fluid, you'll feel your transmission more powerfull, and will help you to keep it just like new. I've tried with "Import multivehicle" from Castrol but a within 6 months the gears began to slip.

On a 99 the vehicle should be able to use a multi vehicle blend from any manufacturer. The best fluid to use is always from your dealer but this vehicle can also use a multi vehicle blend.

How much transmission fluid do i put in my mitsubishi montero sport 2002 3.0l v6 wheres the best place to buy the fluid?

You need 9.8 quarts of Dexron III or later, for a dry fill. A wet service fill will be less, about 6-7 quarts. Autozone or any other auto spares outlet will have it.

Not moving engine runs well I drian the gear oil

Not familiar with montero , but generaly speaking , automatic transmissions are filled , or toped up through the tube where the transmission dipstick is. Hope this helps. Make SURE you use the correct trans fluid , there are several different kinds. The recomended fluid is usualy marked on the dipstick.
