I have a problem with my Audi a4 2.4 R-reg the ABS light stays on after few seconds when I'm starting the engine and no one could connect fault reader because for some reasons no communication with ECU.I cleaned the sensors did not helped.help please
Ensure the ecu connection is good the plug for those sometimes need a good amount of pressure to put on abs light i would check the sensors next to your brake caliper to ensure its not broken or disconnect it or if you dont feel like checking it buy new ones and replace them

I presume you haven't switched off the ESP or anything on the dashboard? Light might be because there is a fault with ABS, so best take to a garage and get them to read off the fault code
The speedo not working causes these 3 lights to come on due to the speed of the car needed for the ABS ESP to work . Engine management light is on due to the first 2 lights . Happenned to me last night. Dont know what is up with your speedo . You have to reset the lights after speedo fixing as I am uncertain whether they will reset themselves.
I have a 2000 Audi A4 and the break wear sensor warning light come on for me too. It does not flash and is orange in color. I have asked the Audi dealer twice about it and they told me it's because the previous owner put aftermarket break pads on it, thus messing up the sensors. I don't know about the ABS warning and other than that I wish you luck on it.
Hi, I had the same problem. it is the imoboliser, it reads a code in your key while starting. you need to get the code in the key reprogramed. if that wont work you will need to get a new ignition barrel. Audi dealer will reprogram your key.
Hi A J Mae,
Do you mean the traffic indicators,( turn signals) or do you mean the dash board indicator lamps? If it's the dash warning lamp indicators, they work on a fail safe system, when you turn the ignition on before the start position, all the lights will come on untill start up and ten they will go off automatically within a second or two....if they stay on with the engine runnig you have a problem we have not covered here.
That will be your hazard warning switch, the one that will be flashing on the dash with a triangle showing on it....If that doesn't do it it'll be something to do with the anti theft device...get out of the car lock all the doors and then press the button on the key fob
