If it is still on all the pulleys you will have to find a tensioner pulley and loosen it. Then it should slip right off. I found that you may have to take both belts off depending on which belt you are trying to take off. To replace it-there is a diagram in the owners manual that shows the correct route/positioning!!!

There should be a idler pully that can be depressed with a ratchet or breakover bar or you will have to find the bolts that loosen the belt. With out know what belt and to what the belt runs it is hard to explain corectly. on alternators there are two bolts one for mounting (no adjustment) and another bolt in slot that allows for adjustment, the slots are usually 2-6 inches long.
