When you press the gas can you hear the engine accelerate if you can then that means it is your transmission if you cant it is your gas cable linkage just snap you can just replace it by removing your engine cover then add a small nut and tie it to the end of your gas linkage strech it in to the plastic arm and you can then use it to take to your mechanic to fix it properly

Nissan D21 automatic wont move when running

Check the trans fluid level first with the engine running. If its low , top it up. Then go back and have them take care of the valve issue.

2002 VW Cabrio GLX while driving car there was a loud bang and it automatically came to a sudden screeching stop as if the car was thrown into park

Can you start it and it runs fine but in park or nuetral? If so the issue is related to something on the drive axel. It could be a CV joint or bearing.

White smoke from exhaust

You probably have oil that spilled over onto the engine block and manifolds which is burning off while you drive. You could get some degreaser and clean the engine. You could also just keep driving it untill it stops smoking as long as it seems to be running OK.

1998 chevy monte carlo drive/overdrive will not engage

Hello
The engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPEDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

1993 Toyota Corolla with tranmission glitch.

i had a 1996 corolla, the spark plug wires run through the top of the valve cover, pull them off and check for oil in the spark plug tubes, the seals go bad and oil leaks past the spark plugs and causes the engine to misfire
