The likely problem is the blower motor resistor pack is defective. It is located behind an access panel below the glovebox. Go to www.trailvoy.com and do a search on "blower motor resistor replacement"

2004 gmc Envoy HVAC system AC works great for about 20 minutes then just starts blowing hot it's the digital climate control if you let it sit for a while it runs great for 20 min then blows hot again

Rule one thing out.... make sure you're coolant reservoir is full

The compressor has a thermal switch, if it gets too hot in the engine bay, will turn off, then back on when it's cooled off.

My 2004 envoy blows hot in two vents and cold in other vents when i turn on A/C

If equipped with climate control, the most likely cause of this issue is a blend door motor failure. IN some cases the entire dash assembly must be removed to access these control motors.

Why does my high speed #5 not work on my climate control on my 2003 GMC Envoy

The hi speed is controlled by the fan relay located in the under hood fuse block. It isn't working.

Had to change out battery now climate control not working

Climate control need to be reset, turn all functions off and set all switches to CCW position. Disconnect battery for about 10 minutes, reconnect battery and don't touch any controls for several minutes. You may hear the climate control cycling at this time.

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy with 4.2 V-6 and I'm getting OBD codes os P128 and P526. Engine temp gauge is fluxuating between 170 and 210 degrees. Coolant level is fine.

these have an electronic cooling fan that has a high rate of failing. Dealer parts only, parts & labor about $700.00 to replace the cooling fan.

Heater fan only works on the high position?

There is a plug up under the glove box that loosens and you need to snug it up.
