International wheeled tractor model V533 clutch adjustment

Hi there, How do I adjust the dry clutch on an IH533 tractor? There is a 6'' inspection hole beneath the clutch mechanism. I can see everything there but am unable to see the adjustment mechanism. Is it on the 3 (?) yoke forks? The clutch is currently working on about the bottom 2 inches of the pedal travel only but it has deteriorated over the past 3 months - should be actuating in the top quarter of pedal travel I think.

Can anyone plz tell me what are the things to be remembered while doing the maintenance of Honda Livo?

There are many things to be remembered while doing the maintenance of the Honda livo bike. Here I have mentioned some of the steps, have a look
=> Engine oil centrifugal filter clearance.
=> Engine idle speed adjustment.
=> Fuel line inspection for any leakage.
=> Fuel strainer screen cleaning.
=> Inspection of throttle free play & lubrication.
=> Inspection of choke operation, spark plug.
=> Valve clearance and adjustment.
=> Cleaning and crank-casing breather.
=> Inspection of brake fluid, top-up if required.
=> Checking and adjusting brake free play.
=> Inspection of brake shoes/pads wear, replacing it if required.
=> Inspection of clutch cable operation, adjusting free play if required.
=> Checking battery voltage.
=> Checking free rotation of wheels and correct tyre pressure.
These are some important thing you should remembered and for detailed service check out for the service manual of Honda livo.

You would usually find it at the flywheel area - on the clutch slave cylinder

Clutch starting to slip 1994 camaro can i adjust it

It does sound like your clutch needs replacing. Adjusting the clutch may help but will not solve the problem. If the transmission has not been serviced for a long time it is a good idea to replace the transmission fluid, inspect the pressure plate. They may also start to wear.

Trying to remove rear brake drum cover,have already adjusted star wheel and still won't remove. what am i doing wrong? for a 93 plymouth grand voyager

  1. Raise and support the rear of the vehicle on jackstands.
  2. Remove the wheels and tire assemblies.
  3. Remove the brake shoe adjusting slot cover from the rear of backing plate.
  4. Insert a thin tool through the adjusting slot and hold the adjusting lever away from the star wheel.
  5. Insert an adjusting tool and back off the star wheel by prying downward with the tool.
  6. Remove the center hub dust cover, nut, washer, brake drum, hub and wheel bearings.
To install:
  1. Inspect the brake lining and drum for wear.
  2. Inspect the wheel cylinder for leakage. Service as required.
  3. Remove, clean, inspect and repack the wheel bearings.
  4. Install the brake drum and tighten the hub nut to 20-25 ft. lbs. (27-34 Nm), then back off the nut until bearing pressure is released.
  5. Retighten the nut finger tight, align the cotter pin hole and install the cotter pin.
  6. Adjust the rear brakes as described in the beginning of this section.

Rear wheel locks up when appling brakes

Hi, check wheel for bad/leaking brake wheel cylinder. An easy way to do this without removing wheel is to look at the outside of the drum from the backside for any brake fluid. If the backside of the drum looks wet, replace wheel cylinder. If it looks dry, remove tire and drum to inspect wheel cylinder for any brake fluid. If rubber boots on end of wheel cylinder appears to be dry, adjust rear brake turning adjusting screw (long bar on bottom with a "star" in center), replace drum, if you cannot put the drum back on easily, back up the screw you turned until the drum goes on easily but without too much slack, start car, apply brake, check drum to see if it can come off easily, if not, repeat until drum is snug, but not tight.
New rear wheel cylinder part avg.: $25-$35 ea.

Clutch Sometimes Slipping in 4th and 5th gears!

Hi Jackiaria

Unfortunately you have a hydraulic clutch, which is self adjusting on your car.

The problem you are experiencing is the excessive wear to your clutch, or oil contamination on the clutch plate.

Both these problems can only be fully diagnosed once the gearbox is removed and the clutch is inspected.
There is also a possibility of excessive wear, or scoring, on the flywheel surface, the longer you drive the vehicle with a slipping clutch, possibly requiring the flywheel to be skimmed.

Shop around for a best price, and a trustworthy garage !

Good Luck !

A FixYa rating would be Nice....Thanks.....John.
