Should be located near or behind the bottom engine pulley on the front of the motor, unplug the sensor, unscrew its mounting screw and fit the new one, you may have to get the pulley removed with the help of a friend with a breaker-bar and puller with the car in gear if manual, or use a garage as it will be hellish tight. Don't lose the little woodruff key that locates in the shaft and ensures the pulley does not slip in operation.

Cadillac wont start

Cadillac is fond of multiple relays / sensors - although first I would suspect the crank shaft sensor, next I would test the Mass Air Flow sensor and Idle Air Control motor, Getting it scanned would be recommended, as you could throw a lot of parts at it and not cure the problem. It could also be a corroded connector for one of the above mentioned sensors - or a sensor I didn't list!

Where is the ect(coolant) sensor located on a 02 cadillac deville???

The engine coolant temp sensor is located just below the throttle body.Just remove the air cleaner tube and you should be able to see it.There will be a black and a yellow wire on the connector.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Have an 02 Cadillac Deville with 32k miles on it. Had a Cadillac dealer flush coolant and replace, and now every time I start the car the DIC reads "Check Coolant Level". Coolant level is fine. Now the...

Why replace the radiator it's just a bad sensor. Get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle look up the water level sensor testing and replacement steps. The sensor probably cost around $30 and I doubt if it takes more than 30 minutes to replace.
