I need a serpentine belt diagram for a 3.8 v6 in a 97 buick lasabre custom

Easy job on those vehicles. Usually need a wrench that fits over the belt tensioner, and you raise or lower it, taking tension off the belt. then just slip it off the nearest pulley-often the alternator pulley. Now you can let go of the tensioner and remove belt. Notice how it is fit. There should be a diagram on a sticker of how the belt fits on.

You can make a drawing before you remove the old belt

After you get your diagram at this website go over to auto zone and borrow the serpentine belt tool kit and it's very easy to change the belt.

The Belt Diagram should be on the underside of your hood, however they have a way of disappearing.

The diagram should be on a sticker somewhere in the engine bay (check upper radiator supports, underside of the hood, plastic panels, strut towers, anything) it will be there unless the sticker is damaged or removed.

need to see diagram for serpentine belt installation on 19991 buick lasabre

I found the diagram in my owner's manual.
I replaced the belt on mine just 2 days ago. All you need to do is remove one bolt from the lower motor mount and remove the spacer. After you relieve the belt tensioner, the belt will slip right through the gap. Don't forget to support the engine before removing the bolt. As a backup I took a photo of the belt with my digital camera beforehand... just in case.
