Idler for the super charge belt broke off of the motor. I purchased a new idler, but there is no diagram in the manual. Is the diagram on the crossmember for the serpentine belt for the engine and supercharge belt as well?

That engine uses 2 belts I believe. if the diagram isnt clear, draw your own. Gates belts has diagrams for belt routings, on their website, look up yiu car, find the belt, then click on the camera icon to see the routing.

I have a 93 chevy 3/4 ton with ac and a 454 in it but I broke my belt and not sure how to run my new one and there's no diagram under hood

Get hold of a manual ( may be able get a down load on the belt from the net). Basically the grooves of the belt go around the grooved pulleys and the idlers if flat will run on the back of the belt The new belt will ne of the correct length so if it appears to short or too long then reassess where you have the belt running

In a 2001 2liter Kia the timing belt broke.. Can I just replace it or do I need to have the valves checked first.? I heard that Kia fixed that problem of bending valves in this model.

Although a KIA manual will state that this is an interference engine, it is not. I know because I have replaced a shredded timing belt on my used 2000 Sportage to take it home and it ran great. Just recently, the timing idler pulley bolt broke while I was driving causing the belt to come off. I replaced the tensioner pulley and drilled out and re-tapped the idler bolt hole and installed the new idler and the belt (it was only 2 months old at the time) and it runs great again. THESE ARE NOT INTERFERENCE ENGINES!!!! you don't have to tear down the top end of the engine to inspect for any damage and it is very simple to install a timing belt on this motor as long as it is done properly.

The airconditioning belt broke and I don't know how to install a new one. Its a1999 Silverado 2500 with a 6L motor

There should be a belt routing diagram on the radiator shroud or around the engine well. Find the idler tensioner pulley, install the belt per the diagram, using a wrench or ratchet to release the tensioner to get the belt on. Make sure the tensioner isn't froze.

Ineed to replace the serpintine belt, mine shreded, went and purchased replacement from lordco auto parts, could not seem to get belt to tighten up could you please advise the correct belt part # as well...

There is a idler wheel that has a bolt that when loosened will cause it to spring back. As you lay under the car with your feet first inward ( looking straight up from under vehicle snake the belt through and over the pulleys then pry back with a long pry bar the idler pulley lever after loosening bolt on wheel or lever as you put the belt over the pulleys. I have done this belt on a 1999 528 i it is a unpleasant job without a diagram showing the serpentine pulley arrangement, there is a second idler pulley located slightly higher than the release locking idler pulley don't confuse the two, I would advise aquiring a serpentine belt diagram (cd repair manual on ebay motors) unless you are confident you can figure it out through trial and error.

Do you have a diagram on routing the drive belt?

The diagram on the right in this link provides the exact diagram/pic. for your car. The link is to a site that explains how to convert earlier NG models (which had an extra center idler pulley) to a shorter belt, ala the newer models such as yours which had eliminated this idler. See also, this site for additional information. Another diagram is here with part numbers for the pulleys and the belt. This is about a one hour job to replace the belt and one or two pulleys. Ensure the pulleys are lined up correctly to avoid throwing the new belt when you start it up.

Daewoo Leganza 2000 timing belt broke

Hi.
If the idler pulley, broke, with the car running, (I think is the most probable), There is no way to fix the car just replacing the timing belt and the idler pulley. This is an interference engine, that means if the timing belt or the idler pulley breaks, you need to replace the whole cylinder head, that's because the valves are bent. I just fix my daewoo, I tried first to just change the idler pulley and set up the time, but it did not work. I had to replace the whole head cylinder, timing belt and pulleys.

I got the information to set up the timing belt from a Library, The program is Mitchell on demand.

Thanks
