The tank vent pipe may be blocked or kinked, it usually branches off the main tank filler pipe and can be seen from under the car.
The vent solonoid screen is plugged, vent solonoid is in square box under trunk, drop unit down by removing two bolts and drop it down, pull solonoid out, end comes off by prying clips away and removing end, clean screen and put back together
Spidernet in the vent pipe
My 05 CV had the same problem, by raising the pump nozzle about an inch or two after inserting, the tank fills up normally.
Turn the nozzle to a different ancle. If the gas is being directed ontu a turn in the fill pipe, turning the nozzle will change the flow path.
There is an anti-syphon device in the filler tube. They can build up back pressure if you put too much gas flow in at the same time. Or there is debris clogging the device.
