On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the inner door handle and replace with new one. If it's your outer door handle, pull back the weather seal and disconnect the linkage to the outer door handle and then remove the bolts securing the outer handle to the door

Where can I buy interior door handles for a suzuki Forenza? Both handles broke off in the back.

Hello. Generally for items of this nature you can order new handles at a Suzuki dealership, or find used ones at a junk yard. You can also look on line.

My door handle snapped off also

Go to your Suzuki dealer, there is a recall for certain Forenza's to have all 4 inside door handles replaced at no cost. If there isn't a dealer near by, e-mail me your vin number and I can look it up for you to see if it qualify for it. [email protected] Don Suzuki man

How do I fix a broken outer door handle on he drivers side?

Is there anything connecting the handle to the door latch assembly? Is the lock cylinder in the key hole and secured? It just sounds like the linkage may have slipped off the door handle

Drivers side door, not opening

VERY common issue.. the handle being replaced is ok.. but the actual metal rod that connects it to the latch needs bent a little to make it more responsive, what happens is over time this rod (which is bent slightly) will straighten, and the operator pulls harder on the handle which eventually brakes.. then replacing the handle will solve it for a while, until the trend repeats itself... VERY common, I have fixed hundreds in the shop so far...
