If you do not know where it is, it is probably safe to assume that you also have not tested it. If you have not tested it, then how do you know that it needs to be replaced?....Just asking!
To answer the question you asked, it is located in the center stack under the dash, just below your Heater-A/C controls.
first as a rule of thumb, check your fuses
then check for spark at the spark plugs
then check for fuel at the fuel rail
you should eliminate some of the system at this time
i have a 1997 chrysler sebring LX Coupe and i can't figure this out i got a aftermarket jvc cd player and i got the wiring harness for my car chrysler and i am not getting any sound please help me
Are you sure it is the starter? This is a picture of where the starter relay is....may be easier and cleaner to change this first....unless it is your starter...none-the-less....here is the info....and not sure the size of motor so pick accordingly:

On Cirrus, Stratus, Sebring convertible and Breeze models, the starter relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment. Refer to the underside of the PDC cover for starter relay location.
On Sebring and Avenger coupes, the starter relay is located under the instrument panel, behind the instrument panel/center console panel. It may only be necessary to remove the center console panel to access the starter relay. However, if the entire console requires removal, refer to .
