My wife just purchased a double din 7'' screen. i have a 2004 Chevy Malibu. i got the installation kit and everything. what else is needed to get it installed. I heard i may need to buy wire harness to be able to get it working, is that so? and how much will the installation may cost me? Thanks in advance.

i have a 2002 ford escape and i bought a double din radio and it did not fit and found out it is actually a din and 3/4 with out serious mods (cutting a bigger hole in dash) double din wont fit i bought a single din stereo and a din a 3/4 dash kit works fine

resistance from the bulbs activate the flasher, so if a light is out it won't flash, could be a ground or an open circuit, time to check wiring

Only if theft light is flashing, then it would need to be reset, to reset turn key to on and wait till theft light stops flashing about 10mim or so, then turn key to off and back to start engine.
