Hi : My 2003 Kia Sorento EX cruise control is not working:: The button you push on the left side of the dash lites-up (cruise) then when you hit the button on the steering wheel to cruise /res the lite comes on next to the speedometer & says cruise, however it is not ''crusing''

Cruise control is a computerized function of the ECM.

On my vehicle, Cruise control only works if you are driving at 50kph or faster. Read your manual. Or you need an electrician.

None of those would be fixed by replacing the battery. Or did you replace the battery and then all of those stopped working?

You can tell of blade fuses are blown if you full them and hold them up to the light. That is a whole lot of stuff not working. I would say you need a good auto-electrician.

It sounds like your Cruise Control Failed.

Sounds like the connection behind the instrument cluster is loose, i had a customer with the same problem only on a 2012 camry and it turned out to be the connection on the cluster. I just adjusted the tension on the connection by bending the contact pins a little.

YOU HAVE TOO CHECK THE WIRE FOR POWER THEN CK. FUESS

on the left side near the steering wheel get in and where your knee hits it should be there right next to the cruise control button on the dash not steering wheel it looks like a wheel that you push up for bright and down for dim if it doesnt work could be burnt butif you have no dash lights its your drl unit to find this out start the truck and look at you lights if the parking lights are on its ok if not well drl

Check for the overdrive buttom on the shift lever, you may have simply depressed the overdrive button and that takes it out of overdrive until you push the button again. If that's not it, please describe the shape of the light.
