Hi I just bought a 2007 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T with about 31k miles on it. The car vibrates when it's idling, is this normal? I've only owned trucks before so my tolerance for vibrations is pretty high, but I thought these cars were supposed to be supper quiet.
Mcdevito75 here, A vibration while idleing is not really normal, a rough idle could be many things, wrong octane gas, dirty gas filter, dirty smog controls. Have your local shop take a look for you.
I also own a 2007 Audi quattro 2.0T and it vibrates at idle. I was told by the dealership that that was normal and nothing could be done about it. The new Audis have a new chassis that has eliminated the vibration.
Mcdevito75 bHere, Thanks for the information, That reminds me a 75 Buick V6 will have a normal bit of a rough idle due to the factory jetting of the V6 carburetor, didn"t know Audi had similar, thanks agin.
