B1 means the sensor is located on the same bank of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. B2 is located on the opposite bank.
S1 means the sensor is located BEFORE the catalytic converter
S2 means the sensor is located AFTER the catalytic converter

You didn't say which engine you have, so I've included the diagrams of both 4 cyl and 6 cyl so you can see the banks

I'm trying to find the HO2S1, I was told it's the oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1 and I can't find the location of it.

There should be 3 or 4 O2 sensors in this vehicle. First you will need to find out which side of the engine the #1 cylinder is on this is bank (or side) 1. Then follow the exhaust down on the OTHER side as bank 2 is opposite of bank 1 and it will be the first one you see. Looks a bit like a spark plug in the exhaust with 4 wires coming out of it. It will be before the cat converter.

Bank 1 is located right after the catalytic converter, and it hosts cylinder numbers 1 - 3 - 5 - 9, whereas Bank 2 is on the other side, and it holds cylinder numbers 2 - 4 - 6 - 8.

I have a 2001 ford escape, where is the location of Oxygen Sensor in bank 2 and its the senor 1 for the heater???

I will make this easy for you, assumming your
going to change them yourself

Bank 1 --is on the side of the engine that has cylinder #1
Bank 2-- is the opposite side
Sensor 1-- is the one closest to engine
Sensor 2 -at converter outlet, those don't fail as often

If you have a bad O2 Sensor, your going to change
both (2) Sensors FRONT 2 only
They are the 2 closest to the engine

O2 Sensors- failed or not, get changed, front 2 only
at 100,000 miles.

Bank 1 sensor 2 location on a 1996 chevy suburban

Fig. Fig. 5: Oxygen sensor-7.4L engines

Oxygen sensors are always numbered like this:
Bank 1 sensor 1
Bank 2 sensor 1
Bank 1 sensor 2
Bank 2 sensor 2

Some manufacturers use a kind of shorthand that reads different, but means the same thing:
Sensor 1/1 or O2s 1/1
Sensor 2/1 or O2s 2/1
Sensor 1/2 or O2s 1/2
Sensor 2/2 or O2s 2/2

Bank 1 is always the side of the engine where cylinder number 1 is located and, of coarse, Bank 2 is the opposite side.
On a 4 cylinder engine, there is only 1 bank and it is always referred to as Bank 1.

Sensor 1 is always the upstream sensor (the one located BEFORE the catalytic converter)
Sensor 2 is always the downstream sensor (the one that is located AFTER the catalytic converter.

Hope helps (remember to rate this).
