1991geo prism lubrication points

old post, and one of them hard , asking for whole book.
PRIZM , 2nd year, its toyota corolla for sure.
lost the operators guide? chapter 7 covers all that.
buy one ?
as in grease? (points?) or all dino oil lub points.
you need a count, sorry I never do counts..
lubrication is and huge wild field (as in)
we even oil hinges... on all cars.... so.>> why not just read the book yourself, I cant paste in chapter 7 here, sorry.
engine oil is not grease, nor axle lube or transmission
why not ask by category.

suspension (none)
or drive line. sure...
engine and trans yes, and axles yes
the operators guide tells all this.
axle bearings , sure, some bearing can be greased,
some cant, depends on what's there. (sealed bearings happen)
hinges, sure. ,cables yes,
transaxle fluid (lube) sure.
why not ask this in a more clear and simple way
what lubrication points are unique to this car,
answer, none.

read any service guide on any car, and bingo, same.
same for same. FWD car for FWD car.
same... 40million strong. now.

page 7-7 has many lub points, shift linkages
park cable guides
underbody contact points it says.
there are 40million corollas made
all have owners manuasl, Id bet most all of them read the same.
i have 95 manual. here, and see NOTHING unique.
SOP standard operating procedures and service.

Purchased focus sport 2006 model no service manual. Mileage 43,000 kms. Need to know service intervals either time/mileage perhaps a copy of the service schedule will suffice.

These maintenance intervals come from the maintenance interval calculator
at www.autozone.com, using a starting point of 25,800 miles (43000 km), and
assuming 1000 miles (1666 km) driven per month, and "severe driving conditions," which
are actually normal usage characteristics, such as frequent short trips, urban driving, waiting in traffic, driving in hot weather, trips under 16 km in cold weather, etc.

STARTING MILEAGE: 25800 (43,000 Kilometers)

Click in front suspension when wheel is turned lt on a 06 RSX Acu

You have a constant velocity joint, which is located on the drive axle, that has a torn protective boot and the grease that was inside to lubricate the joint has leaked out. The joint now has no lubrication and is clicking due to metal to metal contact of the bearings and bearing cage in the joint. You'll ned to pull the axle and get it repaired or replace the axle.

How do I fix a creaking suspension on my 98 Voyager

Replace the front strut mounts and check for worn suspension bushings. Good luck and keep me posted, you can try spraying dry silicon lubricant from a can to the strut mounts and suspension bushings. Do not use oil or grease, oil base lubricant will eat away the rubber bushings. Good luck and keep me posted.
