Is the 1989 motor compatable with the 1993 motor

just look at both engines are the components the same will the harness plug in etc.

How would you get it to work seeing as how
the 1989 is obd1 & the 1999 is obd2
You don't have the wiring & computer system
compatible there
Maybe the motor form 1999 & the1989 intake would work

1989-1993 Models, just check to see if the model is a Landau or Imperial.

Make sure u have the right fuel presure? i replaced efi motors done something, fuel pressure was the problem.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect blower motor electrical connections.
3. On 1989 models, remove plastic water shield from right side of cowl.
4. On 1990-92 3.1L/V6-192 engines, remove tower to tower brace assembly.
5. On all models, remove blower motor retaining screws and blower motor.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

maybe the motor gave up the ghost....
