The hood release is cable operated, just reach under the dash and pull the hood lever.

If it is not releasing by the lever, you likely have something jammed into the latch and will have to pry it free.

Again, the hood release is not electric.

Hopely this trick is useful.

1. Open the window.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Close the door. (Keep the window open)
4. Turn the ignition key on.
5. Find the hood sensor in engine bay area. (It looks like push button)
6. Press the hood sensor and reconnect the battery. (Keep pressing the sensor)
7. Ask someone to start the engine (Keep pressing the sensor)
8. After the engine start, you can release that sensor.

My endeavor turned off while driving,I opened up the hood and the belt is on but ripped and the car won't start. why?

It is possible, and most likely the belt had been slipping, and the alternator was not charging the battery back up as the engine was running,so charge the battery, and replace the belt, and for sure check all pulleys to see that none of them are locked up.If his was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

How do i unlock the radio/where can i find the radio code sticker?

It may be at the back of the glove compartment or the back of your service manual. The other place that will have the code is the dealer, but they may charge you a crazy amount. The they do charge you a crazy amount, log on to radio-code.com. There is a fee, but i think it's like $12.00 and your get to keep the codes not like the dealer where there just going to unlock the radio. Good luck and hope this helps, but try 0000 first to see if that unlocks the radio. If the radio locks up and you can not enter any more codes, just disconnect the battery and that will reset the radio for you to re-enter the radio codes.

The horn on my 04 mitsubishi endeavor went out and also noticed at the same time the alarm on my lock n unlock remote doesn't work. How do i fix the problem?

Standing out side the car, reach in and push the horn pad. Do you hear a click under the hood?

If not, check your fuse. If the fuse is good, check the relay.

If you do hear the click, your horns have likely failed. You can check for 12 volts with a multimeter or test light on the horn wire when the pad is depressed to verify.
If the relay and fuse check out OK and you still do not have power at the horn wires, your pad may have failed or the wire has come loose from it. This is an airbag component and should not be disassembled without familiarity with airbag systems..

If you do have 12 volts at the wire with the pad depressed, replace your horns.

One horn is located below the drivers headlight.
The other horn is near the firewall on the passenger side.

Describe your my Mitsubishi endeavor 2004 back door doesn't open Problem

Does this not open from inside or outside or both.
If it opens from the inside and not the outside look at the door opening near the latch. Look for the small lever "child-lock" just move the lever in the oposite direction.
If the door doesn't open from inside or outside I would ask has anyone try to unlock the car using a "slim-jim" if so they may have caused the lock rod to come off the latch on the inside. You'll need to remove the door trim panel and see the the rod has come off. With any luck it will just pop back on if the nothing is broken.
