No sound from new stereo

I bought a new pioneer deh-1100mp car deck, it worked fine for about 5-7 days then suddenly i have no sound.
the deck itself has power, keeps perfect time, seems to tune properly to fm stations etc. there is just no sound.

initially i connected the blue/white wire from the deck to the blue wire on the wire harness which i read in the pioneer manual if hooked up to the wrong place can cause malfunction or battery drain.

i have disconnected the blue/white wire from the blue wire and capped both ends but i still have no sound.

i thought this would be a problem with the pioneer deck so i went back to the store and bought a second one ($20 cheaper woo!) then hooked it up (without the blue/white wire) and i have the same issue. deck works fine but no sound at all.

so i returned the second stereo and now i dont know what to do, i dont know cars very well.. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Check the speakers in the rear deck, in the rear hatch or trunk, often the two wires that come out of the speaker touch if that happens it will short out the speaker drivers in the radio most times no permanant damage will occur. separate the wires so they do not touch,or touch the metal speker base, that may not be the problem but its a start..

I'm trying to install a pioneer deh-1100 into a 2002 chevy impala... have all wires connected, amp is on, but deck will not cut on

On pioneers, i know that some of them, you have to twist the yellow AND red wires together on the power from your car. Make sure you are grounded. Radio fuse isnt blown, or any fuse on the back of the deck.

My daughter has a 98 olds 88 i removed the stock stereo and put in a pioneer cd player but i didnt see any wire on the stereo side for the elec. antenna i was wondering how i can wire it to work

Most aftermarket pioneer cd/radio decks have the electrical connector for the antenna that I've seen.

Is this a cd only deck, or does it have radio functions?

Did you use a new harness wiring adapter to get the pioneer radio to work with the old harness?
There should be a color coded set of wires for the power antenna on that. And, then the Pioneer radio should have wires that were labeled for the power antenna.

I HAVE A 94 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE PUTTING A PIONEER DEH-1900MP STEREO IN AND WHEN I SHUT IT OFF THE STEREO WONT SAVE THE PRESET STATIONS

the problem is you dont have the battery wire on the radio hooked up to a 12v constant. it sounds like you have to take the battery wire of the radio and hook it up to a wire that stays 12v all the time even when the car is off.
