didnt reuse anything it was a complete engine that i heard run and also drove before we removed engine from other truck

What did you reuse in the motor swap? I'd have to assume whatever was reused is where the problem lies.

Had this problem, had new crank sensor put in, new timing chain and gears. Before that though we did plugs wires, cap, rotor. DO NOT use advanced auto cheap stuff, USE ac delco. after that put a new motor with all of the above new again. Here it was the computer on the radiator overflow tank on the inner fender well. Someone has unscrewed it and it had condensation in it. These are 150 new but you have to have someone flash it in to the motor.

How much fuel pressure do you have? Also did you use the injectors from your old engine or from the new ones? How old is the gas in the tank? Plug wires can cause a miss. Timing can be off causing a miss. There are lots of things that can cause it. Those are just a few to go and test before you throw more parts at it.

I have a 1996 chevy silverado with a 4.3 vortec and manual transmission. What is the best or easiest vortec v8 to use to swap from v6 vortec to v8 vortec?

Thats a tough one, the computer problems are huge on swapping the v8 in.. If it was me I would use an older motor that's not running a computer..or a crate motor ...

Engine codes pcm p0300, 301,302,303

p0300 is Multiple misfire on all cylinders , this could be a spark, running lean due to low fuel pressure or air leak or mechanical issue.
First of all check for any air leaks on motor. P0301 is missfire on Cylinder 1 hence the 1 on the end of 301 , 302 is cylinder 2 and so on. Cheers

I replaced head gaskets on 2004 dodge dakota. when started it ran rough and lacked acceleration. Code P0300 and o2 sensors showed. replaced all 4 O2 sensors, but still rough idle and code P0300

That's Random or multiple missfire code. Have you checked for proper fuel pressure? Improper fuel pressure will trigger this code if it's too low, thus causing a lean mixture in multiple cylinders.

Will a '92 4.3 Vortec motor fit in a '96 4x4 Blazer?

Yes it will bolt up but NO it won't run . The 96 has a crank sensor hole in the timing cover the 92 does not . The timing covers are not interchangeable (different bolt pattern ) . You would have to change complete wiring harness including computer all the way to the OBD diagnostic port . It will work but a LOT of work .

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer 4.3 . It is running bad . I used an OBD II scanner and it pulled up a PO300 code which suggests a Laundry list of things that could be wrong . ...

p0300 should be multiple missfire. check for compression these engines tend to bend valves very easily if ran on old gas or a batch of bad gas. causing it to missfire in more than one cylinder. they also crack heads between valves if overheated.

I have a 2000 silverado w/4.3l vortec engine. I took it to a mechanic cuz I was having difficulty pin pointing a good diagnosis my code reader gave me only a P0300 random missfire code. He looked at it...

Try changing the spark plug on that cylinder, and then the cap and rotor and wires if needed. It is most likely the problem. If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Code o300 checked about everything you can possiblly do and lite still comes on, any idea's 1999 chevy silverado four wheel drive, 5.3 motor auto trans.

Code p0300 is for mutiple missfires. Have you checked fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator, plugs, wires, fuel filter... Those would be the main cause of Mutiple missfires.

1996 Plymouth Neon 2.0 installed new timeing belt and now car is only running on two cylinders, in cylinder two a missfire was detected and random multiple cylinder missfire

You have the timing belt off. If the engine computer sees the Crank sensor and the cam sensor don't line up, the engine computer will shut down two injectors. It sounds stupid, but trust me. I have seen this before.
