Front window wipers dont work on my 98 mitsubishi charisma, 20amp fuse is fine, is there a main fuse block for the front wipers?

the wiper fuses / relays are in the top left of the fusebox

The wiper motor and pump motor are not being energized. Since they both do not work it has to be something they both have in common like a fuse.

Check your car manual for a description of what fuse is for what. When you find the fuse that takes care of those motors replace it.

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.

sounds like might b a main fuse. do u have a kick panel and a box under the hood? sometimes a main relay or fuse will cause many electric things to go out.

Use the vehicle manual to locate your fuse box, then refer to the lid on the fuse box for fuse identification.
If all else fails, check each fuse individually.

Try replacing relay for wiper with another same relay from fuse block from another working accessory.Had same issue on friends Ford Ranger. Moved relays and cleaned harness connection at fuse block. Works fine.

fuse block on left side of dash fuse 17 is for wiper fuse 20 a/c when they dont work test for power on these two fuses if no power look on back of fuse block feed wire may loose

check the switch on the steering usualy it becomes faulty after a while and also your window washers could be blocked but try turning it on if you do not hear a buzzing sound the motors needs to be replaced.
