My car Nissan Sentra 2008 GX was flooded by the typhoon Ondoy in the philippines. Im seeking help for my computer box. We have bought a surplus computer box but wasnt sure if it is fully functional. The engine can start already, we can drive it but once stuck in a traffic or during idle the engine stops and need to restart. does it has anything to do with the computer box timings?? pls help.
Try checking the four ignition coil that. Your engine's stalling while at stop is because the power output of all or any of the ignition coils "jumps" to the engune block and does not go in full to each spark flags.
Possibly. have you changed all your filters? check air filter and throttle body. may be ruined from the water. the throttle body can be cleaned with a fuel injection spray. does your check engine light come on?
Did you get a local version surplus? or japanese version comp box?
my 95 sentra also got flooded/submerged. computer box was damaged. will a japanese version comp box work as long as it comes from a similar engine and features?
