To BYPASS the parking brake function you have to first have the remote control
that came with the ts head unit.
If you have already set up the parking brake function as suggested in the owners manuel follow these directions below!
1: Press the "STOP" button on the remote twice
2: Type "1.2.6.4." on the remote.
3: Press the "left(reverse) arrow" button as if you were going back track on a cd.
This
must be done very quickly in sequential order. It took me a few times
to get it, but it was still tough. Don't give up though keep trying and
you will get it.
Once you have the screen up to manually override the "E-Brake
Safety Control", you must then change the settings for Region and
Macrovision.
