Go into trunk and remove the trunk liner just behind the seats.....pull it towards the back of the car to remove.....look for a metal plate on the passenger side with several screws in it.....this is the access panel for the fuel pump....in the 95 riviera you do not have to drop the tank as the manual says......remove panel, disconnect ring that holds pump, disconnect lines and remove carefully......reverse to install....
You don't have to drop the tank on a 95-99 Riviera to get to the fuel pump. You can access it from inside the trunk.
The relays are always good, if you want to check them just swap them with another relay that is the same from another circuit of your fuse block and see what happens but i bet they are good, check the fuel pump fuse and sometimes its good and sometimes bad even if the pump is bad, i would check fuel pressure but you need a gauge for the,you could try turning the key on and then press down on the shradder valve in the fuel line to see if any high pressure gas comes out,be carefull you dont want to get hit with gas, if it got alot of pressure youre good if not pump is bad,,,also do you hear the pump run when you turn the key to on?the pump is in the gas tank, must remove tank to get it out,,not rec on the floor
You have to remove fuel tank, then remove pump asm, from top of tank.
