2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Malfunction Indicator Light came on today and stays on. The stored code that I can access by turning the ignition switch on off/on off/on is P0700. Any clues as to what's wrong?

Only way to tell is have a scan tool hooked up an check the DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Most auto part stores will check these for free . Could be a simple wiring problem ,or a sensor of some kind or a brake control module . Don't know with out knowing what codes are stored .
If it is the check engine light, you would need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes. Once the problem is fixed and the codes are erased, the light should stay off.
is the check engine light blinking? if so have it tested for codes, Kragen auto and others do this test for free, just ask for a OBD2 fault code test. let me know the results and we can work from there.
The vehicle has to be scanned with a automotive scanner to see what codes are stored in the computer. Afterwards, the person performing the repair can use this informtaion in conjunction with the repair manual to solve the problem. Some auto parts stores will form the scan for free.
