How do you replace a parking sensor on a 2003 BMW 325i tourer . One of the 4 sensors does not click. How is it fixed into the trim? Do you have to remove the bumper trim. How long is the lead and where does it plug in to the car's wiring. Do you need any trim clips or anything which is likely to require replacement appart from the sensor?

I've now managed to remove it, put some WD40 on the plug contacts replace it & it's working. For the benefit of others It helps to see a photo of one on E-Bay so you know what you are dealing with.
The sensor was held into the trim largely by friction (& Dirt) and a small clip which latches over a lug on the cylindrical body. Push this clip away from the sensor and firmly push in on the sensor until it comes out of the trim and can be withdrawn from the back. This is far more difficult than it sounds as the sensor is tight in the hole in the trim. Once it starts moving a bit use some WD40 & push it in & out to help free it. When it's dangling down the back of the trim use a small screwdiver to unlatch the 3-pin plug which engages the socket on the back of the sender and spray some WD40 on pins & socket engage & disengage plug a few times & with luck it will clean up & start working like mine did. No need to remove trim but small hands help. My car has the detachable trailer hitch so removal or the hitch panel in the trim helps access to the 2 middle sensors.

SOURCE: how to replace rear shocks on 2003 bmw 325i

You have to take the trunk liners off of both sides. There will be 3 13mm nuts on each side for the shocks, and under the car is a 16 or 17mm bolt that has to be removed. I hope this helps.

I need pictures easy to read of the fuse box diagram/layout in the glovebox . of the 2004 BMW 325i. not the 2003 or the 230i I need for the exact 2004 325i. and where is the break light fuse located

You need a vehicle handbook pertinent to both the vehicle trim level and the territory into which it was exported.

Replacement original literature should be available to order from the local dealer.

How to adjust air fuel mix on 325i bmw

it is normally the HO2S ( heated oxygen sensor) in the exhaust manifold before the cat converters
That unit reports the exhaust gas composition to the ECM which adjusts the mixture according to the MAF/VAF sensor readings
Add to all of those the ambient temp sensor and the BARO sensor and you have the system that adjusts the air/fuel mixture
how to fix
have the fault codes read and replace the faulty sensors

I have a 2001 bmw 325i. When the brake light shows up on the dash. How do you know if it is the front or rear brakes that need replaced? Also how many brake sensors are there? Does each brake have one?

When the brake sensor light comes up it normally should show a small message on the screen which side is it, there are four sensors on each wheel and the only way to know which ones are to be replaced is to physically exam them. Take the wheel off and have a look if they are less than 5mm replace them.

How to replace a bmw rear parking sensor

put car into reverse with ignition on (not running) and either listen very closely or feel each sensor with your finger tips, you should hear a clicking noise or feel a ticking on the good sensors. once you have determined the faulty one simply release the two plastic retaining clips and push the sensor through the bumper inwards, then remove plug and fit new sensor
