something between your lights and accessories (a wire) were crossed and it burnt out the wire. check your wires again, go to a website for your vehicle and see if you can find a wire diagram of your vehicle.
you can remove the side markers by putting your hand inside the wing to locate the marker, gently squeezing the clips that hold it in. then gently push it through the wing where you can remove and change the bulb
The new marker turn signal lights came with 1 element bulbs and the tiburon takes dual element bulbs . Problem fixed.Cant believe they came that way from the dealer.
the 957 wedge base bulb is frequently used in all automotive models, as dash lights, outside marker lights, interior, etc. Your auto "mart" will have them in two packs or by the 10 pack. Cheap too...
You shouldn't need to. If you pop your hood open, you can unplu the headlight hardness from the bulbs. Then you should be able to turn the bulb assembly about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and they will come right out.
