You should have the computer scanned for trouble codes again and see if they are the same codes as before.

In the old OBD1 system the blinking of 5 5 is telling you that it's the end of the stored codes... you have a 96, you should have an OBD2 port someplace on your van. Go to an auto parts store and have them read your codes for free. Then post that code here.

is the check engine light blinking? if so have it tested for codes, Kragen auto and others do this test for free, just ask for a OBD2 fault code test. let me know the results and we can work from there.

i believe there is a igniter that u have to replace to as well as the coil packs

Bad bulb. When a turn signal bulb blows the other bulb on the same side will blink twice as fast since there is only half the load on the circuit. If the engine light came on at the same time the bulb blew then it probably meant that the computer notice the drop in resistance in the circuit and came on to let you know something is wrong. Change the bulb and have the engine code scanned/cleared. Autozone will scan and clear the code for free, except in Ca.

55 is the ending of every code so that isnt a trouble code either

That is a code for the secondary (spark) circuit on cylinder number 3. It is usually caused by a bad connection between the coil and the plug (take the coil off the plug and check for moisture in the boot). If not, it might be a bad coil...

Have fuel pressure tested when running bad, my guess is fuel pump going, plugged filter Or hole in pick-up tube of fuel pump.
