Constant beeping noise because van door will not shut.
My van door won't close and there is a constant beeping noise reminding me that I need to close it. Is there any way at all that I can disable the noise?

The beeping sound is a warning sound that lets the driver know that a door is open and he shouldn't drive off. It is normal and nothing to worry about. Good Luck. george
if anti theft module not communication with scanner or diagnostic hook up then your vehicle will probably not start till thats corrected and clicking sounds like relay from security system opening up and shutting down power for starting system
if you leave a turn indicator on or the lights on or leave the key in the ignition and open the drivers door it will beep.if none of the above then the door sensor could be faulty.does it beep when you are driving??? then you have a fault if not no fault to worry about...
Good news. After letting the van sit for a few hours, when I went to get in it again, I opened the van with the key (ie. not the remote fob) and there was no beeping. I don't know if checking all the fuses (I fulled and checked each one), or disconnecting the battery, using the key, or just letting it sit did the trick, but it is now fixed.
My van did this aswell, you must have a power sliding door, when it is not latched properly this warning goes off but it won't say on your message center "door ajar". Stop and reopen the door and close it again no more bell. good luck.
That happens to me all the time!! I just pull over, put it in park, open both sliding doors halfway then close them. This always gets rid of the problem. It's happening because one of the doors isn't catching correctly when it closes and once u hit a bump or anything you will here the dinging.
This is a Door Adjar Warning Light and Buzzer. You may need to get the Door Switch Replaced. It is on the Door and the Door Frame. There are Contact that Need to be Touching to tell the Computer that the Door is Closed Securely. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
