Have a 2009 Nissan Quest I can't turn the heat off. Just stays on a high level of blowing out heat .

If you have a fan that has different speed settings (1234, or low med high etc) and the only one that works is high - then the blower resistor pack has failed. If you have a climate control unit (where you just pick a temp you want) then the fan is controlled by the heating system and it sets fan speed. If you have climate control style try lowering the temp to a lower setting (current temp in vehicle) and see if fan slows down. If not then climate control unit or fan resistor bad. If dial type and you get nothing on lower settings (only high works like mentioned above) you need to change blower resistor. It is located under dash near the fan itself. Look for small unit bolted in duct near fan with wire plug going to it.

What is the difference between automatic ac and manual ac

manual AC you set fan speed etc, auto you just set the temp where you want it and the fan will automatically adjust it's speed to maintain the temp you selected, it also automatically goes from recirculate to fresh air.

The heating fan won't turn off. I can control the heat temp, but cannot turn the fan off.

probably resistor pack is broken. it is there to adjust speed of blower motor.

Engine heat get high & whats kind of fan radiator suitable

i am familiar with the car and the problem . the best thing to do is go to the local parts store and ask for an adjustable thermostat fan switch its about 40 dollars you wire it to the battery the fan and a ground mount it near the battery start the car and adjust the knob to the desired fan turn on temp . to fix the setup you have there is a fan turn on temp switch on the passenger side head toward the rear should have one wire on it that grounds the relay on the radiator support . 87 should have one fan one relay sometimes the relay burns and melts the plug you have to buy a replacement plug from a parts store along with a relay so to test it ground the sensor wire with the key on and fan should turn on if it does that's the problem you could also buy a low temp one from summit racing.com the fan will turn on sooner if it still wont turn on the relay is the next culprit check if you have power and a ground with key on at relay plug if you do the relay is bad change it . hope this helps

Air conditioner goes off when fan speed is increased

when it's on 'auto', the fan adjusts according to the temp in the car and the temp setting you have it set at. try setting the auto temp control down to 65, then hit the "-" one more time to send it to "LO" - the fan should automatically jump up to max.

exterior or interior "fan"

the most common for the interior is a defective blower motor resistor

most common for the exterior is a defective temp sensor or bogus A/C input to the PCM

Blower motor control module probably , but without testing that's just a guess . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Testing B+ to the module ? Do you know where the module is ? You can find a wiring diagram here , http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html There is a fuse for the blower motor in the I/P fuse box , HVAC blower 10amp ,

Display on dash

For the dash display, if you're finding it to be intermittent, where it lights up sometimes and other times it doesn't, or if you have the driver information center that displays all kinds of info, but it's missing pixels, this is a common failure. The only fix is to buy another one, and they're very expensive (around $700).

As for the heater, turn on the system by hitting Auto or one of the fan speed buttons. Use the + and - buttons below the temp display to change the temp setting. If the heat doesn't heat up very well, you may have either a thermostat stuck open, or a failed heater core.
