If you apply 12 volt power directly to the motor, it should run. Check for a loose local ground connection. There should be a relay that directly controls the motor.

You can try hot wiring the fan, in order to check if the fan itself is functional. There is also a resistor behind the blower motor that sometimes goes wrong.

I have a 2005 Chev Avalanche. The heater blower does not work on the high setting but works fine on settings 1 through 4.

I looked at 05 avalanche 1500--automatic hvac. The blower fuse is hot all the time. The fuse has an input leg and output leg, even if the fuse is blown, the input leg would still have voltage. If no voltage, you could use jumper wire connected to voltage on the output side of fuse cavity to see if blower would work. If you use jumper, use an inline fuse.
Yes, it could be something wrong with fuse box or wiring circuit?

Heater blower went out

Normally when the blower motor goes out it has trouble a few days before and cuts in and out so I would check fuses first but I may be wrong and if the fuses are fine the I would change the motor

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.
Pricing: new blower motor: Duralast PM270 $43.99
new heater control switch: Duralast SW229 $46.99 (without
A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

Hidh speed on heater blower. In other words

Yup. Refer to your owner's manual for location. The HIGH side of the blower is fused on it's own circuit, usually a 15 AMP fuse.
Good Luck . . .

The blower fan stopped working this morning. No

You can take a look at your fuses and see if your fuse is burnt out or if that not the case and the fuses are fine then it sound like blower motor is shot.

Heater/ a/c blower

There is a 30 amp fuse for the blower. The blower motor resistor could be bad.
