Remove the positive battery cable from the post
remove the 3 wires from the starter and the two bolts holding the starter to the block.
reverse the procedure for installation.

Should be the same but look at the pan on the trans should be the same. If the pans are the same and there are the same number of bolts in each pan then you should be fine.

How do I remove the oil pan on my 1991 Buick Century with a 3.3 V6 engine.

if theres a cross bar the engine will need to be removed.
if not just remove all the bolts around the oilpan and remove it.
