How do I replace my alternater belt in my Mazda 626 lx

If the alternator is on the top in the open, just loosen the alternator bolts a little bit. Then push the alternator to loosen the belt to remove it. Do the opposite to put the new belt on.

If the alternator is buried under a lot of other things, it's a lot tougher job.
Hope this helps.

Mazda mvp 1995 no reverse

Take the transmission pan off and see if there is metal at the bottom or metal shavings. If there is, then the Transmission needs to be replaced for sure. If there isn't then maybe a Mechanic, if you aren't one, can adjust it, if it can be. Normally, that is an automatic transmission replace. Most of the time the friction disks are wore down or there is a leaky seal on the planetary clutch or a input shaft has broken. Some reverse clutches do have a reverse band that goes around the clutch to.
