Which fuse controls my 1998 Nissan Sentra power window

First thing you should have:
1998 Nissan Sentra Owner Manual JustGiveMeTheDamnManual com
This tells you where the fuse boxes are located. Chances are, the one you want is not inside the car, but is in the engine compartment. Most fuse box covers have labels for fuses printed inside.

One other thing, if it is only one window, I'm not so sure it's a fuse causing your problems. could be bad motor, window switch or wiring
good luck

I considered that but my fuse box (under the hood) doesn't show one for the area we're talking about. I know there must be another one somewhere but I don't know where

Go to a repair shop with a Data Base

They will print out all the distribution box locations
& all the fuse, relay etc positions for you

Fuse Distribution Block

There are no fuses for the fan or the ABS in the rear fuse box, they are in the underhood fuse box.

I have a 2008 gmc acacia. The front and mid auxiliary power outlets don't work. The fuse box is on a horrible location. I can't figure out which fuse it is and I don't want to spend hours...

{: ) At the underhood fuseblock, the AUX PWR fuse 20amps is for the Instrument panel and center console outlets, while the RR APO fuse 20amps is for the rear console and rear power outlets.
If your vehicle is equipped with an accessory 110vac, there is this PWR OUTLET fuse 25amps also at the underhood fuseblock. See red arrows on the sample diagram below:

wyet_helps_12.gif Safety reminders: Use only fuses of the same specifications. A higher fuse rating replacement can heat the wirings and could cause fire.

No power to ignition or dash or anything but do have interior lights. no clicking and no reactions when key turned. same when i try to jump start it.

First check your fuse box and make sure you don't have blown fuses. If that doesn't tell you anything, you need to check if you are getting 12V to your PCM.

No dash lights, power locks don't work, fuel gadge doesn't work, radio doesn't work.

all these circuits share some common fuses, check fuse #6 ( 10 amp ), fuse # 11 ( 15 amp ) & fuse #12 ( 10 amp ) all in the inside fuse box at the left end of the dash.....good luck
