The heater control in my 1994 GMC ierra 1500 4X4 truck just flashes arrows all the way across the heat setting and will not heat the truck now. Unfortunately the air conditioner won't go off so the heater can work. Help

Try to disconect the battery cable(negative) for about 15 seconds to reset the ac/heater control.

93 Sierra - Cabin Heater Lights Flashing - Is that a warning?

Well this will tell you that the door that directs the air flow in not moving fully into position.Either the motor that moves the door is not working correctly or there is something obstructing the door.We had mice build a nest in the air ducts and would only do heat any other selection would make the arrow flash until we cleaned it out.Well hope this helped.

My 94 gmc sierra has no heat, new heater core and blower works, also has new termostat...any suggestions?

You Might want to Check your Heater Control Valve,Its located under your Hood between 1 Heater Hose and your Water Pump. Its Vacum Operated and could be manual as well.Have someone turn your heat on and Off while you watch under the Hood at the Heater Control Valve to See if you see it Move.Or could have a Leak.More than Likely its Frozen Closed not allowing the Hot Water to Run Through Your Heater ore ,Which Results in No HOT AIR blowing inside. Try This 1st.

Heater Core

Is the coolant going in and out of the heater core hot? if so the heater core is not the problem, the problem is the outlet air temp control blend door is stuck and or the actuator for the door is inop.
